About me...
I’m just your average mid-life mom in her 40s, navigating life, creativity, and the (surprise!) late discovery that ADHD is along for the ride. If you’re someone who feels like you’re juggling adulting, creativity, and a brain that’s constantly buzzing with new ideas (while also losing your phone every 10 minutes), then you’re in the right place.
A bit about me:
My journey has been anything but straightforward. I started out as an elementary school teacher, but when our son was born, I craved more flexibility. So, I launched my own instructional design consulting business. Once my son started school, I decided to return to the workforce and joined a software startup. Everything was going well—until the company got sold, and I found myself laid off. (Cue the dramatic exit!) Now, I’m focused on reimagining life and choosing creativity on my own terms.
Getting laid off was tough, but it gave me the push I needed to ask, “What do I really want?” That’s how this new chapter started—one where I’m intentionally following my creative passions, understanding how ADHD shapes my life, and, as Martha Beck says, learning to live “in integrity.” I’m building a life that feels like me, one creative step at a time.
And this space?
It’s for anyone on a similar path– trying to balance creativity, adulting, and the beautiful chaos that comes with an ADHD brain. Let’s learn together, figure out what works for us, and build lives filled with creativity and purpose—because why settle for anything less?
So, grab a cup of coffee (if you can remember where you put it), and let’s get creative!
